Coordinate appointments, patient flow, records, and reception for an oral surgery practice in Tewksbury. Provide concierge-level service to patients, referring offices, and colleagues.

Description

  • Deliver concierge-level service to patients, referring offices, and team members through phone, in-person, and electronic interactions.
  • Welcome patients and visitors promptly when they arrive.
  • Respond to incoming calls without delay.
  • Schedule appointments while balancing patient satisfaction, provider availability, and exam and treatment room capacity.
  • Create each provider’s daily schedule.
  • Prepare patient charts.
  • Coordinate patient flow to help minimize waiting times.
  • Provide assistance to patients as needed.
  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and orderly.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with referring offices.
  • Protect confidential information in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Handle other related responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of customer service experience is required.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology is required.
  • A friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor is expected.
  • Basic office abilities, including typing and filing, are required.
  • Strong organizational skills are required.
  • Careful attention to detail is required.
  • Previous oral surgery experience is helpful but not required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States, verified through E-Verify, is required.
