Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Build production generative AI solutions with RevoData, a Databricks-focused data and AI consultancy. Work alongside clients to shape scalable platforms and guide projects through delivery.

Description

  • Work with clients to design AI solutions for real business needs
  • Turn AI capabilities into applications for customers and stakeholders
  • Advance AI solutions from prototypes to reliable production systems
  • Evaluate AI systems and improve their measurable performance
  • Create RAG architectures, agent workflows and fine-tuned generative AI applications
  • Organize and coordinate AI applications with generative AI frameworks
  • Set evaluation baselines and metrics for prompts, retrieval, models and parameters
  • Manage experiment tracking, model versions, observability and deployment workflows
  • Build automated monitoring, evaluation and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning and large language models
  • Design scalable pipelines for training and inference
  • Advise clients, turn business challenges into technical roadmaps, and lead projects from scoping to delivery
  • Explain architecture choices to CTOs and pair with engineers to debug pipelines
  • Use Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow and Mosaic AI features

Requirements

  • Experience building AI systems across their lifecycle, from experimentation through deployment and monitoring
  • Experience delivering production generative AI applications, including RAG architectures, agent workflows and fine-tuning
  • Experience with platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI or similar services
  • Experience with generative AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic AI, Hugging Face or DSPy
  • An evaluation-led approach: set baselines, define meaningful metrics and measure improvements
  • Understanding of LLMOps and MLOps, including experiment tracking, model versioning, observability and deployment
  • Experience building automated monitoring, evaluation and CI/CD pipelines for traditional machine learning and LLMs
  • Experience designing scalable training and inference data pipelines for production
  • Strong Python skills with data and machine learning libraries, and the ability to write clean, testable, well-structured code
  • Experience deploying or working with AI solutions on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
  • A client-facing consulting mindset, with the ability to turn business challenges into technical roadmaps and lead projects from scoping to delivery
  • Databricks experience or certification is an advantage
  • PyTorch or TensorFlow experience is an advantage
  • Experience with production LLMOps tools for evaluation, monitoring and drift detection is an advantage
