Executive Assistant to the Founder

Support Gradient’s Founder at a New York City experiential marketing agency by coordinating business development, events, travel, writing projects, and day-to-day operations.

Description

  • Coordinate the Founder’s priorities and operational follow-through.
  • Research prospects, coordinate outreach, and track business development opportunities in HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Plan events from start to finish, including client gatherings in New York City and dinners in Paris.
  • Develop the Founder’s writing projects from initial research through finished drafts.
  • Arrange travel bookings, itineraries, and trip logistics.
  • Prepare relevant materials and context for the Founder’s meetings and pitches.
  • Handle personal and logistical tasks to free up the Founder’s time.
  • Monitor action items across workstreams.
  • Keep business activities, events, and projects moving promptly and professionally.
  • Make a positive first impression on clients, prospects, and partners who interact with Gradient.

Requirements

  • At least 1–3 years of experience in coordination, executive support, operations, or sales support.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and French is required.
  • Must be based in New York City.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
  • Anticipate needs and take initiative without waiting to be asked.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Comfort with varied work, from research to event planning.
  • Interest in creative agencies, branding, and experiential marketing.
  • Remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive work with discretion.
  • Experience at a creative agency or professional services firm, or working with French-speaking clients, is a plus.
