Join NVIDIA’s developer technology team in Munich to research GPU acceleration for AI and high-performance computing workloads. Optimize parallel algorithms across current CPU and GPU architectures.

Description

  • Develop GPU acceleration methods for deep learning, machine learning, and other AI workloads
  • Partner with industry and academic experts to analyze and optimize complex AI and HPC algorithms
  • Optimize AI solutions for modern CPU and GPU architectures
  • Publish or present optimization findings through developer blogs or relevant conferences
  • Engage with and educate the developer community
  • Contribute to the design of future hardware architectures, software, and programming models
  • Work with NVIDIA teams across research, hardware, system software, libraries, and tools

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related computational science field
  • Fluent in C or C++, with a strong understanding of algorithms and software development
  • Experience with parallel programming technologies such as CUDA, OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, or pthreads
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • A structured, logical approach to problem solving
  • Effective time-management and prioritization skills
  • Experience parallelizing and optimizing deep learning models in areas such as natural language processing, computer vision, or recommender systems would be an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of linear algebra would be an advantage
