Business Sales Representative, Territory Accounts – Chattanooga

AT&T is seeking a business sales representative to win small and midsize customers across an onsite Chattanooga territory. The role covers prospecting, selling connectivity and cybersecurity solutions, and managing opportunities through the complete sales cycle.

Description

  • Build new business with small and midsize companies across an assigned local territory
  • Generate prospects through cold calls, door-to-door outreach, email, referrals, networking, and local market research
  • Schedule appointments, qualify leads, and maintain a dependable sales pipeline
  • Develop a territory plan and execute market activities that support quota achievement
  • Present AT&T offerings including wireless, fiber, internet, voice, software-defined networking, and cybersecurity
  • Serve small and midsize businesses across a range of industry sectors
  • Lead opportunities from prospecting and discovery through proposals, negotiation, closing, implementation handoff, and follow-up
  • Maintain CRM records for calls, visits, appointments, opportunities, next actions, and forecasts
  • Meet customers primarily at their business locations
  • Work with the sales team from the assigned office when working outside the field

Requirements

  • Two to five years of quota-carrying outside acquisition sales experience is preferred
  • Proven ability to win new business through prospecting, cold outreach, referrals, appointment setting, and consistent follow-through
  • Experience keeping Salesforce records current
  • Willingness to spend substantial time visiting businesses and developing relationships with owners, operators, and decision-makers
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to match customer needs with AT&T products and solutions
  • Able to address objections, negotiate, request the sale, and move opportunities toward completion
  • Highly self-directed in managing daily activity, Salesforce maintenance, pipeline quality, and quota responsibilities
  • Able to work from the assigned office when not traveling in the field
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving history, current auto insurance, and dependable transportation
