Business Development Manager – Internal & Supplier Audit | BSI (Hybrid)
Drive new-business sales for BSI’s Internal and Supplier Audit solutions. Own pipeline development, key accounts, forecasting, and tailored consultancy offerings.
Description
- Win new clients for BSI’s Internal and Supplier Audit services, prioritising its core areas of expertise
- Identify, qualify, and manage sales opportunities
- Translate client needs into BSI solutions that improve and control business processes
- Build a strong pipeline through proactive networking with prospective clients
- Manage established key accounts to support satisfaction and retention
- Partner across divisions to create tailored solutions using specialist sector and subject-matter expertise
- Use BSI sales systems and Salesforce CRM to track opportunities, forecast sales, and record orders
- Coordinate with operations to meet delivery schedules and resolve client issues
- Analyse sales activity and quality KPIs to deliver strategies against financial and activity targets
- Monitor industry developments and discuss relevant topics with clients
- Travel to BSI offices and client sites when required
Requirements
- Business development experience involving new-client acquisition and growth, preferably in consultancy or Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC)
- Proven senior-level record of independently achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Substantial experience in consultancy, internal or supplier audits, testing, inspection, certification, or a related field
- Strong understanding of supply chains or internal audits, including experience with major clients and key accounts
- Fluent English is required
- An additional European language would be beneficial
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- University degree in Business, Sustainability, or a related discipline
- ICT sector experience would be advantageous
