Business Banking Relationship Manager I

Build and grow business banking relationships for PNC in Austin by originating credit products, assessing risk, and expanding client relationships.

Description

  • Manage a portfolio of new and existing clients.
  • Pursue sales goals to grow revenue and market share.
  • Win, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and increase clients’ use of PNC services.
  • Originate, assess, negotiate, and document credit and non-credit products and services.
  • Balance risk and return while maintaining quality across new and existing client relationships.
  • Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks.
  • Offer ideas and insights that address clients’ needs and financial well-being.
  • Strengthen client engagement and loyalty.
  • Develop relationships within PNC and with community and industry contacts.
  • Attract new clients and grow existing accounts.
  • Present PNC’s range of products and services to clients.
  • Use reporting and sales tools to find and convert business opportunities.
  • Assess and reduce credit risk using credit fundamentals and internal policies.
  • Provide customer-focused solutions and manage risk under PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

  • A university or college degree is typically required at this level.
  • At least three years of relevant, direct industry experience.
  • A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience—including military service—may substitute for a degree.
  • Knowledge of credit fundamentals and internal credit policies.
  • Ability to conduct financial analysis.
  • Ability to originate, assess, negotiate, and document credit and non-credit products and services.
  • Ability to assess and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks.
  • Client relationship management and relationship-building skills.
  • Prospecting and sales ability.
  • Sound decision-making and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Business acumen and customer experience management skills.
  • Comfort with technology.
