Associate Field Service Technician – Diebold Nixdorf

Maintain and repair Diebold Nixdorf banking and retail hardware and software at customer sites across an assigned territory. The role includes troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance, and customer training.

Description

  • Install and maintain hardware and software, primarily at customer sites, and diagnose product issues.
  • Carry out scheduled inspections, cleaning, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and consumable refills across an assigned territory.
  • Check product operation, use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot hardware and software faults, and escalate issues through established procedures.
  • Repair hardware at the component level, including cleaning and adjusting mechanical parts.
  • Configure and install applicable software.
  • Install, move, add, change, and remove hardware and software as part of IMAC/R services.
  • Show customers how to use and operate installed hardware and software.
  • Schedule service visits, complete required paperwork, and support customer satisfaction.
  • Take part in hardware and software training, KPI initiatives, and special projects.

Requirements

  • Relevant education or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant field services experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and driving record that meet Diebold Nixdorf fleet requirements.
