Tavsif

  • Manage golden images and machine catalogs through building, patching, testing, release, and rollback.
  • Resolve session, profile, and application delivery problems involving logon times, profile containers, printing, peripherals, and protocol performance.
  • Administer VDI access components, including gateways, brokers, certificates, and MFA integrations.
  • Act as the technical lead for VDI-related incidents and coordinate effective resolution.
  • Optimize host pools and delivery groups based on session and resource utilization data.
  • Oversee autoscaling, power controls, and cloud resource consumption.
  • Automate image creation, catalog maintenance, and health checks with scripts and platform APIs.
  • Produce root cause analyses, follow formal change processes, and keep technical documentation current.
  • Direct VDI engagements from scope definition and estimation through design, migration, and implementation.
  • Deliver client status updates and practical best-practice recommendations.
  • Coach and support junior engineers.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, and service desk teams.
  • Partner with a global network operations center for first-line monitoring and triage.

Talablar

  • At least 12 years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
  • Three or more years specializing in VDI or end-user computing platforms.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Deep, hands-on ownership of at least one enterprise VDI platform: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops or DaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop, or Omnissa Horizon.
  • Practical familiarity with the other two listed VDI platforms.
  • Strong administration skills across Windows Server and Windows client environments, including Group Policy, Intune, and profile management.
  • Working knowledge of the compute, storage, and networking foundations supporting VDI, including VMware vSphere or Azure, shared storage, load balancing, DNS, and certificates.
  • Ability to automate with AI tools, PowerShell or equivalent scripting, and direct platform API integrations.
  • Experience preparing formal root cause analyses and operating within structured change management procedures.
  • Clear client communication skills and the ability to work independently across multiple customer environments.
  • Previous MSP or comparable multi-client experience, preferably supporting several customer environments simultaneously.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred: Citrix, Microsoft AZ-140, Omnissa VDI, or comparable virtualization certification.
  • Preferred: Experience with application layering or packaging and GPU-supported or graphics-intensive workloads.
  • Preferred: Experience using VDI monitoring and analytics tools such as Citrix Director, ControlUp, or Azure Monitor.
