Fund Accountant, Private Equity and Real Assets
Calculate NAV, reconcile accounts and allocate investor capital for State Street’s private equity and real assets funds. Support accurate reporting and fund administration.
Opis
- Calculate net asset values accurately and on schedule
- Reconcile trial balances with subsidiary ledgers and investigate discrepancies
- Meet agreed deadlines
- Calculate capital calls and distributions, and prepare investor notices
- Reconcile bank and cash accounts periodically and post journal entries
- Calculate quarterly management fees
- Prepare waterfall calculations and allocate capital accounts
- Address review comments from senior fund accountants and managers, updating them on progress
- Help train and develop colleagues as needed
- Manage your own development and training
- Build effective working relationships with internal clients and colleagues
- Contribute to special client or internal projects as needed
- Work with the Manager to set and maintain annual objectives

- Strong numeracy and literacy
- Work accurately to tight deadlines
- Confident using computers, spreadsheets and word processing software
- A basic understanding of fund administration is helpful but not required
- Excellent spoken and written English
