Descriere

  • Lead and develop a Board Support Package software engineering team through mentoring and team growth.
  • Recruit and staff engineers from entry level through experienced roles.
  • Support employees’ professional growth with coaching and regular performance feedback.
  • Work with engineers, engineering leaders, program managers, and shared services to deliver BSP software solutions.
  • Direct BSP software development in line with customer needs and product line strategy.
  • Champion sound software development lifecycle practices.
  • Contribute technical expertise and strategic guidance to pursuit and proposal work.
  • Allocate resources across programs to meet schedules and business needs.
  • Track program performance using earned value management.
  • Ensure work complies with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry practices.
  • Improve processes and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership from pursuit through development, release, and long-term product sustainment.

Cerințe

  • A STEM degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 7 years of experience.
  • An active, transferable U.S. government Secret clearance is required before starting.
  • U.S. citizenship is required because security clearance eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens.
  • At least 5 years leading engineering teams, including mentoring, delegating work, and collaborating across functions in a technical development setting.
  • Program execution experience, including bidding, project planning, Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk and opportunity management.
  • At least 5 years of embedded software development experience.
  • Experience with embedded operating systems such as Linux, Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, and/or LynxOS.
  • Agile development experience is preferred.
  • Experience managing large programs is preferred.
  • Experience working with certification authorities is preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% per year.
