Lead the operations function for Platform Engineering’s engineering community, conferences, education, and intelligence businesses. Set the roadmap, guide the team, automate workflows, and improve the systems that support growth.

Descriere

  • Transition the company from founder-led operations to scalable systems that support growth
  • Lead and develop the overall operations function
  • Partner with the co-founder during the transition before assuming independent ownership
  • Report directly to the Managing Director
  • Set the operations roadmap across Sales, Growth, Content, and Events
  • Assess team needs, prioritize business impact, challenge requests, and make trade-offs clear
  • Manage the current revenue operations and systems engineering specialists
  • Hire and develop additional capacity across content, design, and growth operations
  • Prototype solutions, write code, integrate systems, and create automations
  • Provide direction while preserving team ownership of delivery
  • Define ownership, documentation, reliability, access, and maintenance standards for critical workflows
  • Drive business adoption and measure gains in delivery, information quality, and time saved
  • Set priorities, own key systems, and deliver tangible operational improvements
  • Reduce manual work and improve operational visibility so founders can step away from daily execution

Cerințe

  • Strong communication paired with a structured approach to solving problems
  • Ability to uncover internal customer needs, challenge assumptions, and communicate recommendations clearly
  • Hands-on experience applying code, APIs, automation, or AI tools to practical problems
  • Ability to explain what you built, the reasoning behind it, and the resulting impact
  • Commercial judgment linking operational improvements to revenue, delivery quality, cost, or capacity
  • Resourcefulness when requirements are incomplete, with the persistence to carry difficult implementations through
  • Ability to prioritize work, provide actionable feedback, and hold a small team accountable
  • Fast learner who can become effective in unfamiliar tools and business areas
  • Startup process-management experience is valuable
  • Consulting or comparable client-facing experience is useful
  • No particular CRM certification or technology stack is required
