Global Category Manager, Procurement – Envalior | Hybrid Germany
Lead global procurement strategies, supplier negotiations, and category performance for Envalior’s high-performance materials business. Drive savings, supply-risk mitigation, supplier development, and cross-functional sourcing initiatives.
Descriere
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with Envalior’s direct procurement objectives and policies.
- Support Direct Spend strategy development and category planning.
- Create and deliver global sourcing strategies through the Strategic Sourcing Methodology (SSM).
- Lead cross-functional sourcing teams and guide projects from initiation through completion.
- Source, assess, and develop innovative suppliers and procurement opportunities.
- Analyze markets and suppliers to inform strategic procurement decisions.
- Conduct evidence-based supplier negotiations and selection activities.
- Oversee contract implementation, compliance, and supplier performance.
- Deliver cost-reduction initiatives while managing supply risks.
- Design and implement regional and global risk-mitigation plans.
- Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and senior stakeholders.
- Improve supplier performance across supply security, competitiveness, quality, sustainability, innovation, and business commitment.
- Lead supplier audits and contribute to ongoing supplier improvement.
- Identify opportunities to optimize and renegotiate contracts.
- Establish and operate supplier relationship management processes.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best-practice adoption across procurement teams.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and advance sourcing initiatives.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and identify additional opportunities to create value.
- Increase the visibility, credibility, and organizational impact of Envalior’s Procurement function.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline; chemistry or materials science is preferred.
- At least five years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management.
- Demonstrated experience creating global sourcing strategies and leading supplier negotiations.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and negotiation capabilities.
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams and managing complex international projects.
- Results-oriented approach with experience generating savings and reducing supply risk.
- Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities.
- Ability to lead effectively without formal authority.
- Willingness and capacity to learn and develop.
- Willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally internationally for up to 20% of the time.
