Document Controller - Remote in South Africa

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Document Controller to manage document filing, version control, and records for a UK employer. This full-time remote role is based in South Africa and follows UK business hours.

Descriere

  • Register, number, and file incoming and outgoing documents
  • Maintain document version control and revision histories
  • Organize SharePoint or Google Drive folders with consistent naming
  • Distribute approved documents to the appropriate teams
  • Conduct regular audits to identify missing or superseded files
  • Manage document filing and version control for a UK business
  • Work independently while joining regular team check-ins

Cerințe

  • Experience using SharePoint, Google Drive, or a comparable document management system
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong discipline in filing and document naming
  • Clear written English communication
  • Ability to follow controlled procedures consistently
  • Familiarity with ISO-style document control practices
  • Experience with Confluence or Notion
  • Basic Excel reporting skills
