Descriere

  • Shape architectural decisions and improve the Data platform as usage expands across France and internationally
  • Maintain and advance data-processing and storage architectures
  • Diagnose performance constraints and deliver targeted optimizations
  • Configure and tune PostgreSQL, Spark, and Kubernetes environments
  • Build and maintain dependable data-processing workflows
  • Improve data pipelines and their orchestration
  • Lower production incident rates and strengthen processing resilience
  • Use software engineering practices including testing, continuous integration, code review, and maintainable code structure
  • Maintain the availability and performance of data repositories and analytics tools
  • Create and refine metrics, alerts, and monitoring dashboards
  • Examine platform and Metabase usage
  • Record incidents, technical decisions, and remediation actions
  • Translate team needs into suitable Data solutions
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and collaborative technical discussions
  • Help standardize metrics, definitions, and documentation
  • Promote team autonomy and the use of Data best practices

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, representing at least three to four years of higher education
  • Around five years of Data Engineering experience, including direct work in production environments
  • Background handling data-volume, performance, or scalability challenges
  • Capability to configure and optimize technical tools
  • Comfort working independently in a small team with broad ownership
  • Advanced SQL and PostgreSQL skills, especially performance tuning and optimization
  • Substantial Spark experience, including configuration and optimization
  • Operational Kubernetes experience in a Data environment
  • Proficiency with Airflow or a comparable workflow orchestration tool
  • Working knowledge of Git and software development practices for Data pipelines
  • A methodical, curious, and proactive working style
  • Ability to explain technical subjects to stakeholders with different levels of expertise
  • Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for knowledge sharing
  • Python, dbt, and Metabase experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana or Datadog is a plus
  • Experience with Open Source technologies or projects is a plus
  • Experience operating an internally managed technology stack without depending exclusively on major-cloud managed services or an integrated platform
  • Interest in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible or Terraform
