AI Software Engineer, India (Hybrid)
Build and operate production LLM and agent systems for Entrata’s AI-powered property management platform. Lead orchestration, retrieval, evaluation, and deployment across the AI product lifecycle.
Descriere
- Build and maintain production LLM, agent, retrieval, and machine-learning workflows, platforms, and product features with structured orchestration patterns.
- Design and operate agent graphs, MCPs, state transitions, routing, retries, fallbacks, escalation paths, and tool integrations.
- Develop prompting approaches spanning system and task prompts, tool instructions, response schemas, guardrails, and multi-agent interactions.
- Design short-term state, long-term memory, conversation history, summarization, retrieval, and privacy controls.
- Choose and configure models according to capability, latency, cost, context limits, operational requirements, and reliability.
- Use AWS AI services, including Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore, to build, deploy, and operate AI systems.
- Connect agents to tools, APIs, databases, and existing application services.
- Develop retrieval and grounding approaches covering chunking, embeddings, ranking, metadata, filtering, and source attribution.
- Build and expand quantitative and qualitative evaluation suites.
- Investigate unexpected agent behavior and establish monitoring and observability for AI systems.
- Take AI initiatives from technical design through production launch and continued improvement.
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain supporting application code and backend services.
- Partner with product, design, data science, and engineering teams while contributing technical guidance and code reviews.
Cerințe
- Bring 1–4 years of software engineering or related experience, including at least 2 years working with AI, data science, or adjacent technologies.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or a comparable programming language.
- Have strong practical knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Have built and operated LLM or agentic systems in production.
- Understand prompting, tool calling, structured outputs, agent orchestration, state management, context construction, and memory.
- Have designed agent graphs, multi-step workflows, routing strategies, and failure-handling behavior.
- Understand how to select and assess models while balancing quality, latency, cost, and reliability.
- Have practical experience with Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, or comparable cloud AI services.
- Have experience with RAG systems, vector databases, embeddings, ranking, and grounding methods.
- Have created quantitative and qualitative evaluations for LLM and agent behavior.
- Use traces, logs, production data, and evaluation findings to investigate AI system failures.
- Understand MCPs, APIs, distributed services, databases, cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD, and observability.
- Bring strong system design, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
