Descriere

  • Collaborate with engineering, research, technical program, and product teams to deliver AI-powered products
  • Create, test, deploy, and maintain AI components spanning foundation-model training, LLM inference, agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability
  • Use open-source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, vector databases, and PyTorch
  • Develop foundation-model optimization methods that improve scalability, cost efficiency, latency, and throughput in large-scale production systems
  • Help define the technical direction and long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems
  • Build and optimize orchestration pipelines that combine LLMs, vector search, and domain-specific models
  • Lead cost and performance governance reviews covering GPU utilization, model throughput, and inference efficiency
  • Chair team design councils or review boards to promote technical consistency and adherence to AI engineering standards
  • Coach Principal- and Manager-level AI engineers while advancing the organization’s technical capabilities

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field with at least 6 years of AI or machine-learning development experience, or a relevant master’s degree with at least 4 years of experience
  • At least 6 years of programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java
  • Preferred experience leading AI-system development while balancing cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy
  • Preferred 7 years of experience deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms
  • Preferred experience designing, delivering, and supporting complex AI systems
  • Preferred experience developing AI and machine-learning algorithms with Python, C++, C#, Java, CUDA, or Golang
  • Preferred experience optimizing training and inference software for hardware utilization, latency, throughput, and cost
  • Preferred experience building agentic AI systems and workflows
  • Preferred experience architecting and integrating heterogeneous AI systems into unified production pipelines
  • Preferred experience establishing and enforcing ethical AI deployment standards
  • Ability to balance model performance and operating cost through dynamic inference strategies and model compression
  • Experience right-sizing models, instance quantities, and hardware configurations is preferred
  • Strong grounding in engineering and mathematics
  • Ability to interpret scientific publications and apply emerging techniques in production
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
