Senior Executive Search Partner
Lead Director-to-VP searches across BD’s corporate functions, advising senior leaders and managing confidential executive talent pipelines. BD is a global medical technology company.

- Lead executive searches for corporate leadership roles, generally from Director through Vice President.
- Work with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to set role objectives, leadership criteria, requirements, assessment standards, and search plans.
- Run structured intake, calibration, and weekly progress meetings.
- Keep stakeholders informed about market feedback, candidate quality, pipeline status, timelines, risks, and decisions.
- Plan and carry out proactive sourcing through market mapping, direct outreach, competitor research, talent intelligence, and confidential executive engagement.
- Develop qualified executive pipelines for current openings, succession needs, and future corporate-function capabilities.
- Assess executives through structured behavioral interviews, leadership evaluations, motivation and career risk analysis, and alignment with BD’s values and culture.
- Advise senior leaders on market conditions, talent availability, competitor activity, and compensation.
- Guide candidates through confidential searches from initial contact through interviews, selection, offer, closing, and transition.
- Coordinate with Total Rewards, HR, Legal, Mobility, and other teams on compensation, restrictive agreements, offer planning, and closing.
- Keep search records, reports, and governance data accurate in approved recruiting systems.
- Follow recruiting policies, posting rules, employment laws, data privacy standards, and confidentiality requirements.
- Improve executive search processes, tools, templates, technology, and the experience standards for stakeholders and candidates.
Prasības
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- An advanced degree or relevant HR or recruiting certification is preferred.
- Typically, at least seven years of progressive recruiting experience, including substantial executive search work in a global company, retained search firm, or complex matrixed organization.
- A track record of recruiting senior leaders across multiple corporate functions.
- Ability to influence senior executives, HR leaders, and cross-functional partners through consultative collaboration, market insight, and disciplined search execution.
- Expertise in direct sourcing, talent mapping, market research, executive assessment, pipeline management, offer negotiation, and senior candidate engagement.
- Experience managing multiple confidential, business-critical searches across locations while maintaining quality, responsiveness, and clear communication.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using ATS or CRM data, market intelligence, and search metrics to guide decisions and improve delivery.
- Experience in medical technology, life sciences, healthcare, or another highly regulated global industry is preferred.
