Capture Management Director, SAIC — Reston, VA (Hybrid)
Lead capture strategy, proposal development, and cross-functional teams pursuing major Army and Navy defense contracts for SAIC. Shape federal acquisition strategies and strengthen customer and partner relationships.

- Direct capture activities across Army and Navy markets, including C5ISR, Aviation, Missiles & Fires, Surface and Subsurface Systems, NIWC LANT, INDOPACOM, SOUTHCOM, and CENTCOM
- Create and execute capture plans covering win themes, differentiators, value propositions, teaming approaches, and customer communications
- Tailor capture strategies to customer priorities through competitive intelligence and market analysis
- Validate opportunities and guide pursue-or-bid decisions
- Oversee technical and cost proposal development for quality, compliance, and customer fit
- Partner with technical, finance, and proposal teams to turn requirements into persuasive submissions
- Direct technical volume development focused on innovation, risk reduction, and cost competitiveness
- Coordinate multidisciplinary capture teams spanning subject matter experts, program managers, pricing, contracts, and business development
- Assemble and lead bid teams, aligning staffing with opportunity requirements and customer expectations
- Mentor capture teams throughout the full capture lifecycle
- Plan and conduct customer engagements that strengthen SAIC’s position and support win strategies
- Influence procurement approaches through engagement with federal customers and stakeholders
- Guide teaming decisions and identify strategic partners, subcontractors, and prospective hires
- Lead internal capture, gate, pricing, and strategy reviews
- Analyze competitors to position SAIC solutions effectively
- Capture lessons learned, promote best practices, and improve capture processes
Талаптар
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 18 years of experience, or equivalent additional relevant experience in place of the degree
- Record of successful capture leadership, including at least three single-award wins above $100 million
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes
- Familiarity with non-IDIQ and IDIQ contract structures
- Knowledge of FFP, T&M, and cost-plus payment models
- Experience using varied contract vehicles and alternative acquisition methods
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-stakes, multidisciplinary capture teams in fast-moving environments
- Strong business development judgment with a record of meeting or surpassing demanding capture goals and quotas
- Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Reston, Virginia
- Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
