Description

  • Evaluate quality across complex and highly sensitive health care programs supporting Connecticut HUSKY Health Medicaid behavioral health services.
  • Support quality measurement and performance improvement efforts, including Rural Health Transformation, the 1115 Substance Use Waiver, CCBHC, and Child and Family Division initiatives.
  • Help develop, maintain, and report on the Quality Management Project Plan, performance targets, PAR program profiles, and other contractual requirements.
  • Prepare and communicate health care program and quality information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Recommend corrective changes in deficient areas to satisfy government and company regulations and standards.
  • Build and maintain databases used to track business performance.
  • Apply statistical methods to analyze data and summarize performance.
  • Develop and review claims, provider, and utilization reports, identifying performance deviations and anomalies.
  • Convert business requirements into diagnostic data, tracking systems, and decision-support tools.
  • Provide data analysis, reporting, and quality-measurement support for the Connecticut Initiative.
  • Build, maintain, and improve provider-facing Tableau dashboards for performance monitoring and quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required.
  • Four to six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise in quality assurance, data checking, validation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Experience using SAS statistical software for data analysis and query development.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and enhancing interactive Tableau dashboards.
  • Medicaid claims experience, preferably with behavioral health claims data.
  • Knowledge of Connecticut’s behavioral health system of care.
  • Moderate to advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Experience evaluating program outcomes and performance trends.
  • Experience presenting data findings and training users on dashboards.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid quality measures and integrated care programs.
  • Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the posting location unless an accommodation is approved.
  • New candidates for certain patient- or member-facing roles must receive COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations unless an acceptable explanation is provided.
