Description

  • Lead teams building modern frontend products for millions of users.
  • Use open-source technologies and applications.
  • Solve problems continuously to build secure, straightforward solutions.
  • Design frontend architecture for scale and high performance.
  • Set the multi-year technology roadmap for Client Experience applications.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, SRE, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Promote software quality and sound engineering practices.
  • Research emerging technologies and opportunities to modernize systems.
  • Build rapid solutions that other teams can reuse as modules or frameworks.
  • Develop high-performance web applications with modern technologies.
  • Work across multiple cloud platforms and use containerized application pipelines.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience developing customer-facing products or web applications.
  • At least 10 years of experience in software development or architecture.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Expertise in architectural design and applying architectural patterns.
  • Expertise building frontend applications with frameworks such as React and Next.js.
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration, including Kubernetes or service mesh.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including core concepts and deployment strategies.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related engineering field, plus software development experience.
  • Effective time management and a record of meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and business audiences.
  • Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Readiness and ability to adopt new technologies and learn concepts quickly.
  • Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for technology.
  • Experience delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Preferred: experience in a dedicated architect role.
  • Preferred: experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
  • Preferred: experience improving web page performance.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot and Claude Code.
  • Preferred: knowledge of mobile application frameworks.
