Senior Clinical Research Associate – Spain (Remote)
Senior Clinical Research Associate overseeing clinical trial site activities in Spain for Worldwide Clinical Trials, a global contract research organization. The role includes site visits, data verification, and protocol compliance support.
Description
- Lead site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, management, and close-out visits.
- Coach and support less experienced CRAs and clinical site personnel.
- Prepare written reports documenting site visit findings.
- Evaluate, monitor, and train site staff on protocol compliance.
- Review participant safety information and informed consent documentation.
- Verify source documents for regulatory compliance, participant safety, and data accuracy.
- Review case report forms in paper-based and electronic data capture systems.
- Support sites in resolving data queries.
- Update site documentation for filing in the Trial Master File.
- Confirm compliance with investigational product receipt, accountability, return, and destruction procedures.
- Participate in accompanied site visits to assess or train other CRAs.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented approach to clinical research work.
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC platforms.
- At least five years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
- Four-year university degree or RN/BSN qualification in Nursing.
- Availability to travel as required.
- Experience conducting site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, site management, and close-out visits.
