Requirements
- Demonstrated success designing, deploying, and operating complete machine learning systems and production-scale LLM applications
- At least five years of professional experience in machine learning or AI engineering
- Practical experience converting prototypes into robust production services
- Strong capabilities in system design, observability, safety controls, guardrails, and infrastructure as code
- Hands-on expertise designing agentic AI systems with multi-agent coordination, stateful workflow orchestration, autonomous decision cycles, and complex action execution
- Strong experience integrating LLMs through function calling, tool use, structured output parsing, and advanced reasoning methods
- Ability to lead cross-functional work, convert business priorities into technical roadmaps, and maintain high standards for code quality and reliability
- Experience developing strong engineering teams, leading detailed code and architecture reviews, and promoting technical excellence
- Knowledge of LLM infrastructure, advanced retrieval-augmented generation, model fine-tuning, agent memory design, and automated evaluation is advantageous
- Experience with vector databases, distributed systems, and GPU performance optimization is advantageous
- Familiarity with combinatorial optimization or the relationship between machine learning and quantum computing is advantageous
