Pharmacy Technology Implementation Specialist at ITW

Deploy RxSafe pharmacy software and hardware solutions for healthcare customers, providing training and integration support. The hybrid role requires frequent on-site travel across the United States.

Description

  • Execute implementation activities that support timely, customer-approved go-lives
  • Train customers to use pharmacy hardware and software
  • Support the Implementation Manager in establishing processes, procedures, and controls
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders ranging from pharmacy leaders to technicians
  • Apply clinical and technical process expertise throughout implementations
  • Collect customer requirements, operating practices, and design concepts
  • Advise customers on best practices and procedures
  • Surface and escalate opportunities to improve the business
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional team members
  • Travel to pharmacies, healthcare organizations, and the corporate office
  • Work on-site with customers for approximately 75% of the time
  • Handle other duties assigned to the role

Requirements

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required
  • Experience with pharmacy automation is preferred
  • A BA or BS degree is preferred
  • At least three years of pharmacy experience is required; independent retail pharmacy experience is preferred
  • Experience operating or supporting pharmacy automation equipment
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work on-site with customers 75% of the time as a regular job responsibility
  • Self-directed work style with the ability to operate independently
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects against tight deadlines
  • Capability to train others, supported by relevant knowledge and skills
  • Strong writing ability with clear, concise communication
  • Ability to perform interface testing
  • Strong grasp of technical concepts, networking fundamentals, and databases
