Description

  • Investigate emerging fraud threats and patterns across Verafin transaction, case, marked-fraud, and network signal data.
  • Convert fraud intelligence into practical insights for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Describe emerging fraud activity, attack methods, and potential response options.
  • Assess how enterprise clients apply Verafin scores and data in their fraud programs.
  • Find ways to strengthen detection and reduce false-positive results.
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Turn analysis into client guidance, product enhancements, and broader fraud intelligence.
  • Support scalable fraud analysis through automation, AI, and improved data architecture.
  • Report to an AVP of Product Strategy.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in fraud analytics, fraud strategy, or a related field.
  • Advanced SQL and data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience handling large, complex transactional datasets.
  • Strong knowledge of fraud typologies and financial services, including scams, account takeover, and payment fraud.
  • Ability to detect patterns and anomalies in complex data and convert findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting compelling data narratives to technical teams and non-technical clients.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine-learning concepts, automation, or agentic AI tools is preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise financial institutions or fraud and cybersecurity threat intelligence is preferred.
  • Knowledge of payment systems and analytical tools such as Python, R, or data visualization platforms is preferred.
