In-House Legal Counsel, Spanish Employment Law (Italy Remote)
Provide in-house legal support on Spanish employment law and cross-border workforce matters for WorkMotion’s global workforce solutions business. Advise teams on contracts, compliance, and international growth while working remotely from Italy.
Description
- Handle employment law matters across multiple countries
- Advise internal business units and departments on legal issues
- Support global expansion and the development of new business
- Maintain compliance with applicable local laws
- Manage legal projects hands-on in close partnership with the business
- Work with Operations, Sales, internal teams, local payroll providers, and external law firms
- Provide high-quality, customer-focused legal advice aligned with business objectives
Requirements
- Spanish-qualified lawyer admitted to the Spanish bar
- In-depth knowledge of Spanish employment law
- Background in a law firm, an in-house legal team, or preferably both
- Approximately 2–4 years of post-qualification experience
- Spanish native speaker
- Fluent written and spoken business and legal English
- Strong legal and commercial judgment with a practical, solution-focused approach
- Employment law knowledge in other jurisdictions, such as Portugal, is a bonus
- Familiarity with data protection law and GDPR is a bonus
- Experience preparing and negotiating sales contracts is a bonus
- Portuguese, French, Italian, or German language skills are a bonus
