Full-Time Sales Supervisor – Long Beach, CA

Lead sales, customer experience, and store operations as a full-time Sales Supervisor at the 2nd & PCH location in Long Beach. The role includes team leadership, inventory oversight, safety compliance, product education, and associate development.

Description

  • Partner with store leadership to deliver excellent customer experiences, operational standards, and planned financial outcomes
  • Provide on-site leadership while maintaining consistent service and performance
  • Work with regional and cluster Assistant Store Managers to support retail strategy
  • Lead, engage, and develop a strong team while reinforcing Hotel Chocolat culture
  • Increase sales through effective customer experiences and selling practices
  • Monitor customer service performance using product expertise, selling capabilities, mystery-shopper feedback, and sales results
  • Represent the brand with business partners, mall leadership, and the local community
  • Coordinate with Visual, Marketing, and Operations teams to implement store procedures
  • Build and share knowledge of products, cocoa, allergens, sustainability, and ethical practices
  • Conduct product tastings and demonstrations
  • Process deliveries, maintain product presentation, secure merchandise, and preserve inventory accuracy
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and store-security standards
  • Open and close the store and manage assigned keys
  • Review store operating budgets and identify efficiency opportunities
  • Drive ongoing operational improvements
  • Evaluate, coach, schedule, direct, and motivate associates against objectives and performance measures

Requirements

  • At least two years of customer service experience is required
  • Prior experience leading a retail team is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate toward shared goals or performance targets
  • Flexibility to assist colleagues and adjust workload based on business needs
  • Ability to identify product categories and follow standards for displays, stock levels, seasonal campaigns, and special offers
  • Inventory management experience is preferred
  • Ability to learn a broad product range, including cultivation and production methods
  • Interest in cocoa and willingness to learn about flavor profiles and applicable allergens
