Lead ERM’s environmental compliance and sustainability consulting growth, shaping client solutions and EHS risk management. Build strong teams and expand the firm’s impact in the environmental compliance market.

Description

  • Lead client relationships, business development, and delivery for ERM consulting services, with a focus on Sustainable Operations.
  • Design and implement EHS compliance and risk management systems.
  • Advise clients on EHS data management, reporting, and disclosures.
  • Create commercial strategies to secure new work and grow revenue.
  • Work with clients to develop practical, innovative solutions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing consulting team.
  • Mentor consultants and develop future leaders.
  • Advance service innovation and collaboration across ERM teams.
  • Take part in local and regional business development initiatives.
  • Raise the profile of Sustainable Operations through thought leadership, industry engagement, and strategic partnerships.
  • Grow the Sustainable Operations portfolio profitably.
  • Set commercial strategy in line with ERM’s priorities.
  • Help shape ERM’s strategic direction as an equity Partner.
  • Strengthen ERM’s position in the environmental compliance market.
  • Provide strategic and technical direction in environmental compliance, operational risk, and EHS performance improvement.
  • Create and implement compliance and risk solutions for complex regulatory settings.
  • Help clients align sustainability goals with compliance, biodiversity, and resource management needs.
  • Deliver improvements in operational efficiency and risk exposure while supporting safe, sustainable, compliant operations.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop leaders in Sustainable Operations.
  • Spot emerging talent and provide opportunities to take on greater responsibility.
  • Promote a culture centered on safety, sustainability, inclusion, and excellent client service.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in EHS compliance, environmental compliance, and risk management.
  • Executive consulting or corporate leadership experience, with a strong record of business development and client growth.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted client relationships.
  • Experience delivering a broad range of solutions in compliance, reporting, and operational risk.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and people leadership skills.
  • Ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
  • An established client network or market credibility in technology, energy, or other industrial sectors is preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial outlook and the vision to grow a practice and expand its market impact.
  • Strong executive presence and strategic thinking.
  • Credibility in environmental compliance and an integrated understanding of sustainability and operational performance.
  • Commercial judgment and a collaborative leadership style.
  • Commitment to developing people and advancing innovation.
