Director of Wealth Management Coaching

Lead coaching for TIAA wealth management advisors, helping them deliver comprehensive retirement and financial planning. Develop sales practices, coach associates, and support client meetings across San Diego and Palo Alto.

Description

  • Build trusted relationships with client-facing Wealth Management associates.
  • Coach and motivate associates to help clients achieve comprehensive goals by identifying ways to improve productivity and apply effective practices.
  • Work with client-facing leaders to create coaching plans that promote client-focused, comprehensive sales practices.
  • Teach associates to use TIAA solutions and tools within the Client Engagement Model.
  • Speak as a keynote presenter at client seminars when needed.
  • Join client meetings to coach associates or demonstrate coaching techniques.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in financial planning.
  • Help wealth market leaders deliver comprehensive planning and financial solutions through coaching, skills development, and practice management.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of work experience required.
  • At least 7 years of work experience preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7 registration.
  • FINRA Series 63 registration.
  • FINRA Series 65 registration.
  • FINRA Series 66 registration.
  • Resident-state Life and Health Insurance License; multiple issuers required.
  • Understanding of clients’ individual financial objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency in client lifecycle management.
  • Subject matter expertise in financial planning concepts.
  • Knowledge of wealth management, retirement planning, sales, and TIAA products and services.
  • Ability to perform sedentary work.
