Description

  • Research markets and trends to uncover category opportunities and risks
  • Create and execute long-range strategies that improve category performance and profitability
  • Plan for future business needs by preparing and positioning the supply base
  • Manage the project pipeline, advancing initiatives that support category strategy, margins, and product lifecycles
  • Maintain the approved supplier list
  • Organize suppliers into strategic categories in alignment with stakeholders
  • Classify suppliers into subcategories according to the products they provide
  • Maintain complete, consistent records for suppliers operating across multiple sites
  • Direct category budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management
  • Protect profitability and cost efficiency through disciplined financial planning

Requirements

  • Be a U.S. Person under ITAR and EAR requirements, or be eligible to obtain the necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or Department of Commerce
  • Meet the U.S. Person definition as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or protected person such as an asylee or refugee
  • Conduct market research and interpret category trends
  • Create and execute category strategies
  • Manage project pipelines and advance projects to maturity
  • Administer approved supplier lists and supplier classifications
