ANDRITZ Wiring Technician – Chambly On-Site
Build and test custom electrical control panels for ANDRITZ Canada’s hydroelectric equipment operations. Read schematics, wire components, and verify assemblies against CSA and UL standards in Chambly.
Description
- Install and connect components in electrical cabinets using engineering drawings
- Install cabling for protection and control systems in hydroelectric power plants
- Verify assemblies against CSA and UL standards before final inspection and field installation
- Build custom electrical panels in the Chambly workshop
- Report to the Production Manager
Requirements
- DEP in electromechanics of automated systems or equivalent training
- Demonstrated manual dexterity
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Versatility, accountability, autonomy, strong attention to deadlines and quality, teamwork, and willingness to take on challenges
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
