  • Manage end-to-end billing, including invoices, adjustments, and credit memos.
  • Verify billing data, rates, charges, and contract terms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Review billing reports to spot discrepancies, trends, and opportunities to improve processes.
  • Audit billing regularly for accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Maintain billing systems and oversee their administration.
  • Handle billing questions and escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Explain billing policies, procedures, and requirements to customers and internal teams.
  • Investigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies and disputes.
  • Work with finance, operations, and customer service teams to address billing challenges.
  • Improve billing workflows to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Establish and apply effective billing practices and operational standards.
  • Train and assist junior billing staff.
  • Coach and mentor team members.
  • Prepare billing reports, metrics, and analyses for management.
  • Use billing data to recommend actions and inform decisions and strategic planning.

आवश्यकताएँ

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in billing or accounts receivable.
  • Strong knowledge of billing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with billing software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Careful, accurate data entry and analysis skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with software for invoice generation, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Transportation or logistics industry experience and knowledge of freight billing processes and regulations are preferred.
  • Billing or accounts receivable management certification is preferred.
