- Build and develop the Internal AI Accelerator into a complete engineering squad
- Set the strategy, delivery direction, and roadmap for Xero’s agentic AI workflows
- Create and launch AI workflows that reduce manual effort, speed decisions, and deliver measurable productivity improvements
- Work with business leaders across G&A, Finance, P&C, and IT
- Develop reusable AI patterns and governance frameworks with partner teams
- Create playbooks and reference architectures that enable adoption across teams
- Expand agentic AI delivery across finance, HR, support, and operations
- Develop reusable patterns, platforms, and governance frameworks
- Design and implement architecture for enterprise AI deployments
- Define scalable practices for AI safety, evaluation, and operations
- Maintain delivery momentum, resolve blockers, and ensure the team ships production software
- Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to design and launch AI workflows

- Strong technical judgment and the ability to earn team trust without coding as a primary responsibility
