Build real-time machine learning for payment routing at Solidgate, a global payments orchestration platform. Establish models, experimentation, and AI infrastructure from the ground up.

Opis

  • Develop foundational machine learning models and pipelines for a new ML and AI initiative.
  • Create real-time payment routing and decision systems with direct revenue impact.
  • Run practical experiments from initial ideas through A/B tests and production deployment.
  • Integrate advanced AI technologies.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, and Data Platform teams to address modeling challenges.
  • Develop coordinated model-training and analytics pipelines.
  • Explain technical findings to engineers and cross-functional partners.
  • Help build the ML and AI function, team, and standards from the start.
  • Work with more than 20 million orders and 100 million transactions each month across over 100 payment methods and providers.

Zahteve

  • Bring 4–5 or more years of experience in machine learning or data science.
  • Have hands-on production experience with classical predictive models, such as credit scoring, fraud detection, risk, recommendations, or pricing.
  • Demonstrate a record of delivering machine learning models end to end, from concept to production in a real product environment.
  • Show business impact through conversion, approval rates, losses, or revenue.
  • Have strong data science fundamentals.
  • Bring practical experience with A/B testing and experiment design.
  • Have experience engineering features from high-cardinality transactional data.
  • Work independently in a greenfield area and take ownership of delivery.
  • Communicate well and work comfortably with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, fraud, or risk is a plus.
  • Experience serving machine learning models in real time or at low latency is a plus.
  • A master's or PhD in a quantitative field is a plus.
