Operations Manager, Battery Delivery
Lead Club Assist’s battery delivery operations and business development across the Los Angeles region. Oversee service teams, safety, fleet operations, sales, and customer delivery performance.

- Drive business development strategy across an assigned territory or region.
- Manage battery delivery staff, including Service Route Representatives, Service Route Managers, and Service Route Trainers.
- Review vehicle reports weekly and provide coaching or corrective action as needed.
- Hire, train, supervise, and manage the performance of direct reports.
- Achieve sales budgets and assigned KPIs.
- Review route efficiency annually for assigned Service Route Representatives and Service Route Managers.
- Resolve issues related to inventory, sales performance, warranty administration, driver training, and performance management.
- Review consignment levels against sales twice a year and recommend adjustments.
- Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation rules and internal safety standards.
- Complete at least two vehicle safety audits each year for every assigned Service Route Representative and/or Service Route Manager.
- Assess fleet vehicles for product loading and capacity, and recommend route options.
- Track market trends and propose new battery products for approval.
- Build business relationships with battery manufacturers and third-party product storage contacts.
- Oversee third-party battery delivery and distribution, resolving related issues.
- Maintain annual vacation schedules and ensure staffing coverage.
- Suggest ways to reduce risk and improve health and safety performance.
- Report accidents, incidents, and near misses; take part in investigations and corrective actions.
- Represent and promote the Club Assist brand.
- Travel regularly within the region and occasionally across Club Assist’s wider territory.
- Spend about half of working time traveling by car.
- Work extended hours and travel by air occasionally as business needs require.
- Work from a home office, on the road, in warehouses and outdoor settings, and at customer or team meetings.

- Bachelor’s degree, mechanical trade qualifications, or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading an operational service business.
- A track record of managing an operations team and influencing stakeholders.
- Experience engaging senior leaders and management teams to drive growth and deliver change programs effectively.

- Ability to consistently lift, carry, transfer, and maneuver batteries and other materials weighing 50–75 lbs. throughout a shift.
- Ability to use warehouse equipment and secure loads.
- Ability to use a tablet, mobile phone, computer, keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment.
- Sufficient vision, depth perception, and hearing to operate vehicles and warehouse equipment safely.
