Unreal Engine Engineer – Nintendo Switch, Brazil Remote
Port, adapt, and optimize Unreal Engine games for Nintendo Switch at Side. This contract role focuses on console debugging, platform integration, and live-game performance.
Descriere
- Port and adapt existing Unreal Engine systems for Nintendo Switch
- Investigate and resolve platform-specific bugs and compatibility issues
- Profile and optimize CPU, GPU, memory, and loading performance
- Adjust graphics and scalability settings to meet console performance targets
- Support the integration of Nintendo platform features and requirements
- Debug gameplay, rendering, UI, input, online, and platform-service issues
- Partner with QA to reproduce, investigate, and resolve platform-specific problems
- Support builds and overall platform and release readiness
Cerințe
- Submit applications and CVs or resumes in English
- Bring at least 3 years of professional experience as a Game or Software Engineer
- Have professional experience with Unreal Engine and C++
- Have developed or ported games for console platforms
- Demonstrate strong debugging and problem-solving skills in an existing codebase
- Understand game performance profiling and optimization
- Be comfortable working on an established game rather than building systems exclusively from scratch
- Nintendo Switch development or porting experience is highly desirable
- Have previous Switch 2 development experience
- Have supported live games within an actively maintained codebase
- Have experience with online or multiplayer games
- Understand console certification and platform requirements
- Have experience with Unreal profiling and optimization tools
- Have worked on console ports or cross-platform titles
- Be based fully remotely within Brazil
- Be available for 40 hours per week
