Product Engineer (Frontend and Full Stack)
Build Eventogy’s event management platform across Next.js, React, TypeScript and Laravel, from admin tools and attendee sites to APIs. Develop AI-assisted features for enterprise clients in regulated industries.
Descriere
- Develop end-to-end features across the Next.js admin hub, attendee websites and Laravel API.
- Convert prototypes and specifications into production-ready code.
- Flag gaps in specifications and potential edge cases before development.
- Make AI coding agents a core part of the workflow, using parallel tasks when suitable.
- Direct Claude Code and carefully assess the code it produces.
- Check code for permission issues, shared state and data crossing client boundaries.
- Create and maintain tests.
- Validate changes with the automated test suite and seeded test events.
- Release changes safely using non-destructive migrations and feature branches.
- Partner with product to understand the rationale for each feature.
- Take ownership of features from specification through production.
Cerințe
- Strong Next.js, React and TypeScript skills, including routing, rendering and data-fetching patterns.
- Sound component design and state management skills, with attention to accessibility.
- Experience creating clear, predictable interfaces for enterprise users.
- Confidence working in an existing Laravel codebase, including Eloquent, migrations, repositories, API resources and PHPUnit or Pest feature tests.
- Data modelling knowledge sufficient to spot changes that could break existing records.
- Daily experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding tools, and the ability to give them effective instructions.
- Ability to catch AI-tool mistakes involving shared state, validation, security boundaries and incorrect fixes.
- A product-focused mindset and habit of identifying edge cases before coding.
- Ability to own a complete feature across the stack.
- Clear written communication in pull requests, tickets and questions to product.
- Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship, with a valid visa or UK residency, and currently based in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo high-level security clearance.
- Applications must include a CV and responses to both application questions.
- B2B or multi-tenant SaaS experience is an advantage.
- Experience in regulated sectors such as finance or legal is an advantage.
- Playwright or other end-to-end testing experience is an advantage.
