Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst

Leep Utilities is hiring a senior analyst to investigate revenue leakage, billing discrepancies and unbilled consumption across its water, electricity and heat networks. The role focuses on reconciliations, data analysis, reporting and strengthening revenue controls.

Descriere

  • Support revenue assurance work across water, electricity and heat networks.
  • Review revenue processes to find leakage, billing exceptions and unbilled consumption.
  • Reconcile billed revenue with industry charges, settlement data and operational records.
  • Review water balances and investigate variances.
  • Check accrued income and investigate discrepancies at inset and scheme level.
  • Validate industry invoices, tariffs, volumes and charges.
  • Investigate and quantify identified issues to support revenue recovery.
  • Analyse large datasets for anomalies, trends and revenue risks.
  • Investigate the root causes of billing discrepancies and operational issues.
  • Prepare regular reports on findings, risks and opportunities.
  • Record issues, their financial impact and corrective actions.
  • Work with Finance, Operations, Customer Operations and Metering teams.
  • Liaise with incumbents, retailers and suppliers as needed.
  • Raise and track queries through resolution within agreed service levels.
  • Share findings and recommendations with stakeholders.
  • Identify process gaps and weaknesses in controls.
  • Help improve processes, controls, automated reporting and reconciliations.
  • Escalate risks and control weaknesses to the Revenue Assurance Manager.

Cerințe

  • Experience in finance, revenue assurance, billing, settlements, metering or an analytical role.
  • Experience analysing and reconciling large datasets.
  • Utilities experience in water, electricity or related industries is desirable.
  • Knowledge of industry charging arrangements, settlement processes or metering data is advantageous.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and identify trends, anomalies and risks.
  • Power BI and/or SQL experience is desirable.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of revenue risk.
  • Careful attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organisation and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
  • Interest in continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to relevant internal controls, industry processes and reporting requirements.
