Material Solutions Coordinator
Coordinate inventory, replenishment, and onsite material programs for Crawford Electric Supply customers. Support customer service, field operations, and accurate inventory across job sites.
Descriere
- Help deliver Crawford’s customer-facing material management programs and support their day-to-day performance.
- Act as the regular contact for assigned customer locations and material programs.
- Build working relationships with customer staff, project and maintenance teams, purchasing contacts, and Crawford partners.
- Address inventory questions, service requests, material needs, and operational issues.
- Find ways to improve material availability, productivity, visibility, and the customer experience.
- Keep inventory accurate through cycle counts, audits, replenishment, disciplined transactions, and discrepancy resolution.
- Track inventory and replenish supplies according to customer demand and service needs.
- Spot stockouts, excess or slow-moving items, and record inaccuracies, then coordinate corrective action.
- Assist with min/max reviews, item rationalization, inventory optimization, and ongoing improvements.
- Support onsite inventory, storeroom, consignment, and other material management programs.
- Receive, inspect, stock, label, organize, issue, stage, kit, and process returned materials.
- Keep customer and Crawford-managed inventory areas clean, safe, organized, and efficient.
- Coordinate deliveries, job site requests, staging, and customer service needs.
- Work with inventory systems, handheld scanners, mobile devices, customer portals, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Keep inventory and replenishment records, service documentation, and program files up to date.
- Help prepare KPI reports and customer scorecards covering inventory accuracy, fill rate, stockouts, productivity, and service performance.
- Raise recurring issues, risks, and improvement ideas with the Material Solutions Manager and relevant partners.
- Follow Crawford and customer safety rules, standard procedures, and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Work with Branch Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, and Digital Solutions to resolve issues and improve service.
- Take part in site reviews, training, audits, program launches, and process improvement work.
Cerințe
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, customer service, material handling, distribution, construction support, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong customer service, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and respond effectively in a field-based setting.
- Working knowledge of inventory practices, material handling, receiving, stocking, and replenishment.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn ERP, inventory, scanning, reporting, and customer technology platforms.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet applicable company travel requirements.
- Experience with Vendor Managed Inventory, consignment, storeroom, onsite inventory, kitting, or replenishment programs is preferred.
- Experience in electrical distribution, industrial supply, manufacturing, MRO, construction, or project-based settings is preferred.
- Experience using ERP systems, handheld scanners, inventory applications, reporting tools, or customer portals is preferred.
- Lean, continuous improvement, safety, or inventory management training is preferred.
