Descriere

  • Lead and manage the Product Engineering team
  • Help engineers deepen their understanding of systems, users, and products
  • Give engineers ongoing feedback and coaching
  • Recruit engineers and address difficult situations when needed
  • Guide prioritization and help the team move on without micromanagement
  • Adapt your management style to individual engineers
  • Apply SaaS product-development expertise within engineering and neighboring teams
  • Foster collaboration led by product, design, and customer needs
  • Connect product, design, commercial, and engineering functions
  • Define how to lead engineering as agentic development increases
  • Report to CTO Antti Tarvainen

Cerințe

  • Previous experience managing software engineers
  • A proven record of helping people and teams become stronger
  • A solid engineering background
  • Recent hands-on engineering experience and the ability to discuss how agents are changing software development
  • Experience developing SaaS products
  • An understanding of product-led teams
  • A clear perspective on agentic development
  • A commitment to management as a deliberate career choice rather than an escape from engineering
  • Interest in a small-company setting with direct communication, low ego, and minimal process
  • Residence in Helsinki with close access to the team, product, and CTO
  • A CV and half-page response explaining how you would keep seven experienced product engineers motivated and developing as agents assume more coding
  • Patent or listed technology-stack experience is not required
