Senior Accountant at DailyPay responsible for month-end close, compliance, audits, financial reporting, and accounting process improvements. The role also includes mentoring junior accountants and supporting senior Finance leadership.

- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses during the month-end close
- Maintain compliance with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Provide documentation and review support to internal and external audit teams
- Recommend and implement improvements that increase accounting process efficiency
- Build productive relationships across Finance and with cross-functional partners
- Mentor junior accountants and provide ongoing professional guidance
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and corporate filings
- Complete specialized accounting assignments and ad hoc projects
- Support the Director of Accounting and senior management

- At least four years of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field
- Relevant professional credentials, such as a CPA
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong accountability
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team
- Proven project management capabilities
- Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and deadlines
- Experience using an ERP platform such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
