Personal Injury Case Manager Assistant

Support U.S. personal injury law firms remotely with treatment coordination, client communication, insurance follow-ups, and case documentation. This full-time role is based in Colombia and requires English and Spanish.

  • Track daily priorities and follow-ups to keep pre-litigation cases moving and assist Case Managers with outstanding tasks.
  • Update English- and Spanish-speaking clients on their cases, appointments, and treatment progress.
  • Coordinate appointments, referrals, imaging, injections, and other recommended care under Case Manager direction.
  • Confirm appointment attendance and flag missed visits or gaps in treatment.
  • Request medical records, billing statements, treatment updates, and other outstanding documents from providers.
  • Follow up on insurance matters, including policy searches, coverage checks, and contact with adjusters.
  • Keep accurate notes, organized files, and task updates in the firm's cloud-based case management system.
  • Track open tasks and unanswered requests, and raise concerns with the assigned Case Manager.
  • Prepare organized medical records, bills, insurance documents, and supporting materials for the demand team.
  • Coordinate case handoffs among Case Managers, attorneys, medical records staff, and demand preparation personnel.

Талаптар

  • At least 1–3 years of hands-on U.S. personal injury case management experience; direct personal injury experience is required.
  • Previous experience supporting California personal injury cases.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills and an empathetic, professional approach to injured clients.
  • Working knowledge of personal injury workflows, medical treatment coordination, and insurance claims.
  • Experience communicating with clients, medical providers, and insurance representatives.
  • Experience using legal case management software to maintain accurate case notes, documents, and follow-up tasks.
  • Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to prioritize multiple cases, resolve routine administrative issues, and work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred: pre-litigation experience supporting Case Managers with large caseloads.
  • Preferred: familiarity with California-specific personal injury concepts, including Proposition 213.
  • Preferred: experience retrieving medical records, requesting billing documentation, and supporting demand preparation.
  • Preferred: understanding of bodily injury claims, insurance coverage verification, and policy limits.
  • Preferred: familiarity with cloud-based case management systems and paperless law firm workflows.
