  • Direct early-phase study planning and portfolio scheduling across the Austin, Las Vegas, and Prague Clinical Research Units
  • Manage integrated calendars for awarded and prospective clinical studies
  • Assess study placement and timing using protocol requirements, participant and cohort needs, bed capacity, recruitment capabilities, procedures, equipment, holidays, sponsor deadlines, and competing site activity
  • Manage calendar updates, evaluate portfolio effects, apply routine changes, and escalate material capacity decisions
  • Lead study placement and scheduling discussions with site leaders, investigators, recruitment, business development, finance, and clinical operations
  • Coordinate portfolio schedules across Clinical Research Units, including multisite studies
  • Maintain scheduling records, trackers, and planning tools supporting capacity planning, revenue forecasts, and business decisions
  • Administer Human Safety Committee activities, including submissions, reviews, agendas, meetings, minutes, decisions, and follow-up
  • Coordinate study placement within Clinical Research Units, record decisions and action items, and keep calendars current
  • Engage clients on scheduling factors, capacity limitations, and available alternatives

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of formal academic or vocational qualifications
  • Comparable professional experience of 0–2 years
  • Working knowledge of clinical trial processes, particularly early-phase research and Clinical Research Unit operations
  • Capability to review study protocols and determine scheduling and placement needs
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced presentation and meeting facilitation abilities
  • Highly organized approach with careful attention to detail
  • Effective time management and prioritization across multiple concurrent activities
  • Professional judgment and business maturity
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team
  • Capacity to work in office, laboratory, and clinical settings
  • Proficiency with a range of internal and commercial software applications
