AdaptHealth Vice President of Operations – Missouri Remote
Lead scalable home medical equipment operations across Missouri for AdaptHealth, with responsibility for KPIs, profitable growth, compliance, and regional leadership.

- Lead operational initiatives in partnership with operational leaders
- Advise and support regional leadership
- Define performance measures and operational KPIs
- Lead, motivate, and develop the operations management team
- Support strategic planning, execution, and standardized process adoption
- Design scalable departmental structures to support growth
- Analyze client workflows, best practices, and bottlenecks to identify process improvements
- Work with Finance and Revenue Cycle Management teams to assess collections and payer-contract compliance
- Partner with the Chief Operating Officer on National Account prospecting and referral-generation strategies
- Advance profitable growth, clinical excellence, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate across functions to develop scalable solutions
- Set priorities and execute company initiatives as a member of the leadership team
- Oversee direct and indirect staff management, including hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, counseling, and performance reviews
- Set annual departmental goals and objectives
- Ensure completion of performance evaluations and progress toward retention goals
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local legal and professional standards
- Maintain current knowledge of HME products and services
- Protect patient information in accordance with HIPAA
- Advance the organization’s mission, vision, and values
- Complete other related responsibilities as assigned

- Must live in Missouri
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent HME industry experience of eight years
- At least seven years of relevant healthcare experience
- Experience in healthcare administration, financial services, insurance customer service, claims, billing, home health, or medical terminology training preferred
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence
- Strategic perspective combined with strong execution ability
- Demonstrated leadership capability
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-management skills
- Proficiency in financial reporting, modeling, and performance presentations
- Ability to operate in a matrixed environment with multiple competing customer demands
- Proven ability to lead and adapt to complex workflows and changing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Executive presentation capability and comfort with high-level client interactions
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds when needed
- Willingness to travel extensively as required
