Territory Sales Representative - Cleveland East, Ohio (Remote)

Promote Phathom Pharmaceuticals’ gastrointestinal products to healthcare professionals across the eastern Cleveland, Ohio territory. Drive sales performance, market access pull-through, customer engagement, and territory business planning.

Description

  • Achieve assigned-territory sales objectives while following company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assess customer needs and coordinate relevant resources and pull-through activities
  • Build advanced knowledge of products and disease states for informed healthcare professional discussions
  • Promote Phathom’s first product to gastroenterologists, advanced practice practitioners, and selected primary care physicians
  • Partner with peers, regional sales managers, and commercial teams to meet territory, regional, and company goals
  • Maintain sales execution that meets or exceeds established targets
  • Deliver clinically focused messages to gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, advanced practice practitioners, and office staff
  • Present a new treatment option and respond to customer questions and concerns
  • Analyze territory market conditions and identify market access opportunities
  • Support product pull-through through communication with healthcare professionals and office teams
  • Create territory business plans with the regional sales manager and strategic account specialists
  • Coordinate with peers, marketing, training, and sales operations to execute plans and share effective practices
  • Complete administrative duties, including CRM updates and expense reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • At least one year of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Two or more years of successful medical sales experience, such as dental, medical device, laboratory, or diagnostics sales, or demonstrated success in B2B or related sales work
  • Gastrointestinal specialty experience is preferred
  • Consistent, documented success in sales performance
  • Experience launching new products
  • Demonstrated ability to use marketing, market access pull-through, and technology resources effectively
  • Strong business judgment and analytical skills
  • Ability to build professional relationships with office staff and other customer-network contacts
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in live and virtual customer interactions
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Strong technical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, and Zoom
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Availability for occasional overnight territory travel based on geography
  • Availability to travel to national, regional, and corporate offices as required
