Service Operations Manager – Cleveland, Ohio (Hybrid)

Lead field service technicians and hospital service delivery for Daniels Health’s medical waste management operations in the Cleveland area. Oversee installations, scheduling, audits, staffing, compliance, and hospital account support.

Description

  • Lead and support 15 Field Service Technicians serving multiple hospital sites
  • Coordinate installations, service schedules, and inventory with Plant Managers and Delivery Drivers
  • Train hospital employees and internal teams on product use, safety, and compliance
  • Conduct audits, track service quality, and implement continuous improvements
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel and participate in facility meetings
  • Recruit, train, and manage service employees, including scheduling, performance reviews, and safety instruction
  • Keep accurate operational records and uphold regulatory requirements
  • Partner with Sales and Regional Operations to support account growth and retention
  • Provide high-quality service to hospital partners throughout the greater Cleveland area
  • Support frontline employees and help improve patient environments
  • Manage a non-sales, non-engineering service operation centered on service quality and team leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least five years of leadership experience in a service-related industry; healthcare experience is preferred
  • Strong communication, project management, and customer service capabilities
  • Experience managing teams, budgets, and operational KPIs
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required
  • Experience in hospital settings or with healthcare clients is preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety procedures is preferred
  • Familiarity with service-tracking and reporting systems is preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push or pull up to 500 pounds
  • Ability to walk more than two miles per day and use staircases
  • Ability to work in hospital settings and occasionally outdoors
