Senior Inside Sales Representative – Respiratory Interventions | Medtronic (Remote)

Lead virtual sales for Medtronic’s respiratory and airway-management portfolio while managing U.S. hospital accounts. Generate opportunities, support field sales teams, and grow customer adoption remotely.

Description

  • Grow sales of Medtronic’s Respiratory Interventions airway portfolio through virtual customer engagement
  • Generate new business through outbound calling, lead qualification, lead-generation programs, and targeted campaigns
  • Manage territory performance and meet or exceed assigned sales targets
  • Use customer, territory, and sales data to prioritize opportunities and create account plans
  • Oversee customer accounts, maintain consistent engagement, increase product utilization, and uncover expansion opportunities
  • Explain product features, clinical applications, and value propositions to customers
  • Partner with field sales representatives and cross-functional teams
  • Negotiate and close opportunities while resolving customer questions and adoption barriers
  • Share market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive information
  • Develop and close leads, and route internal leads when appropriate
  • Contribute insight on new markets, product launches, and existing products or supplies
  • Promote company products and services and support customer education
  • Address and resolve customer concerns and issues
  • Coordinate product demonstrations with field sales representatives
  • Support field sales representatives with planning, sales execution, data analysis, customer opportunities, and follow-up

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 8 or more years of relevant sales, customer support, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences; or an associate degree plus 6 or more years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree plus 4 or more years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while balancing competing priorities and customer needs
  • Applicants may live anywhere in the United States
  • Ability to work consistently from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for roles below the Principal level
  • For bachelor’s degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must meet the standard specified in 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
  • Preferred: inside sales, virtual sales, remote sales, business development, or quota-carrying sales experience
  • Preferred: prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, or other outbound sales experience
  • Preferred: experience using CRM systems and sales performance data
  • Preferred: medical device, healthcare, respiratory care, or acute-care hospital sales experience
  • Preferred: analytics, sales reporting, and market-data experience
  • Preferred: experience working with field sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Preferred: clinical experience, healthcare certification, or acute-care product experience
