Senior Data Analyst - Paris Hybrid
Senior Data Analyst responsible for stakeholder-focused analytics, dashboards, KPI management, and data quality. The role also advances data governance, training, and practical AI adoption across Swan’s embedded-banking teams.
Description
- Work with stakeholders to clarify priorities, shape analytical questions, and translate data into actionable recommendations
- Own data projects from initial scoping through final delivery
- Establish and maintain KPIs, examine edge cases, define modeling requirements, and protect data quality
- Develop dbt models as required
- Create and maintain Metabase dashboards and executive committee reports
- Treat dashboards as products by ensuring their reliability, usefulness, and continued relevance
- Convert improvement opportunities into well-defined projects with clear scope, plans, and ownership
- Standardize data-team practices across dashboard lifecycles, KPI definition and validation, data catalogs, and documentation
- Support adoption and organizational change through consultation, stakeholder buy-in, quick wins, and continued guidance
- Evaluate, pilot, and implement AI tools and working practices that strengthen analyst productivity
- Deliver Metabase training and data onboarding to expand data autonomy across the company
Requirements
- At least six years of experience in data analytics
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with business stakeholders, including non-technical audiences
- Fluent SQL skills
- Experience using a business intelligence tool such as Metabase
- Track record of introducing new standards or processes across a team without formal authority
- Practical, focused approach to lightweight processes that solve real problems
- Persistence and strong follow-through in project delivery
- Interest in sharing expertise through training, documentation, onboarding, or data-enablement initiatives
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and care
- Commitment to team spirit, transparency, ownership, and continuous learning
- Experience with dbt or data-mart development is preferred
- Experience with data catalogs, KPI governance, or dashboard lifecycle programs is preferred
