Parts Supervisor - Prestons, Australia

Lead automotive parts advice, orders and customer support for Scania Group in Prestons. Coordinate workshop supply, inventory accuracy and customer solutions in an onsite role.

Description

  • Build productive relationships with customers, workshop staff and suppliers
  • Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable parts and solutions
  • Oversee enquiries, quotations and orders through to completion
  • Handle negotiations and resolve customer issues with professionalism
  • Coordinate with the Workshop team to maintain parts availability and reduce downtime
  • Pursue opportunities to grow sales and strengthen customer satisfaction
  • Keep inventory records accurate and ensure parts are stored and controlled properly
  • Complete invoicing, payment processing and related documentation accurately
  • Help workshop operations run smoothly and keep customers’ vehicles moving

Requirements

  • Background in automotive parts, customer service, automotive retail, logistics or a comparable field
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to develop lasting relationships
  • Confidence influencing decisions and managing challenging conversations professionally
  • Strong negotiation and practical problem-solving abilities
