Part-Time Branch Sales Associate in Sioux Falls

Grainger is hiring a part-time Branch Sales Associate for its onsite Sioux Falls branch. The role supports walk-in MRO customers through sales, order fulfillment, inventory, merchandising, and warehouse operations.

Description

  • Serve walk-in customers by providing informed product solutions and a positive experience
  • Identify sales opportunities, build customer loyalty, and exceed service expectations
  • Own the customer experience from product selection and accurate order entry through safe picking and vehicle loading
  • Tailor communication for different audiences across email, phone, and in-person interactions
  • Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and products for shipment
  • Process customer backorders and stock received products
  • Support merchandising and replenish the showroom
  • Complete inventory counts
  • Use computer systems for customer service and warehouse work
  • Maintain branch appearance through housekeeping activities
  • Report to the Branch Manager

Requirements

  • Be available to work at any time during branch operating hours
  • Safely lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier loads with assistance
  • Learn to operate powered industrial equipment
  • Follow safety guidelines and process standards, including required personal protective equipment
